An indifferent

For I knew no difference

From yesterday and today

For I had missed the day’s passing

In utter dismay

A tirade of persuasion,

please, I would say,

For the time is now

Don’t go astray

And still as I was

Witnessing my decay

My mind had ideas

that motivation betrayed

Though I longed for mind

To win the endless debate

Body was the vagabond

That had more freeway

I am an indifferent

With impatient depression

To disrupt the cycle

Of endless recession

Self-coaxed to endure

Mere inactivity

there is more pride in

work productivity
